About Peter
Throughout college and my professional career, my approach to learning has been through teaching, whether it be study groups or walking co-workers through complicated workflows. I am very patient as well as excellent at taking new angles to learning when one approach isn't working. Finally, I like to weave a story around dry subjects to keep them engaging and give a touchstone for remembering them in the future.

I'm happy to teach students of all ages on a variety of subjects - anything STEM related through early collegiate level, mathematics from basic arithmetic through multivariable calculus, and basic programming skills. In addition, I can teach technical writing or essay writing for classes, college apps, scholarships, and job searches.
My goal is to have students able to confidently explain a topic such that they can teach their own peers. To that end, my teaching style focuses on underlying concepts and exploring concepts in depth. I excel at breaking difficult problems down into manageable chunks, then helping students to visualize how those chunks work together.
