About Calum
I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Southampton with a passion for education and teaching. I achieved an A*AAA at A level (physics, biology, chemistry and Spanish) and 8 A* + 3 As at GCSEs. I am well versed in different methods of teaching and I understand that every student is unique and will each learn in their own specific way. This is why I aim to tailor your education to your learning style rather than try to fit everyone into a "one size fits all" teaching method. I look forward to meeting you and I hope you pick me to be your tutor!

My lessons are tailored to each student's learning style, goals, and current level. I focus on building a strong understanding of key concepts through clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises, including customised Anki decks for flashcard revision. I encourage students to ask questions and develop confidence while learning at their own pace. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and include a review of previous topics, guided practice, and personalised feedback. I welcome students from key stage 3 through to GCSE and A levels, whether they need help with schoolwork, exam preparation, or improving their overall understanding. My aim is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that helps every student achieve their academic goals.
