About Matthew

I love to tutor and help others understand what they may currently not. I am happy to help in any aspect whether it's regarding GCSE or A Level content, exam technique, revision style or with any aspiring medics with their medicine application

I have currently been tutoring for roughly 5 years and have many students achieve the grades they need in GCSE and A Level to move on to the next stage of their life (have helped students get into medicine at university)

Grades I achieved
GCSE: 9 in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, Physics
A Level: A*s in Maths, Chemistry, Biology
UCAT: top 10% in my year

About the lesson

I like to focus on GCSE / A level topics which students may find difficult or challenging and help them get to grips with understanding but if there are any specific areas requested

After the content has been understood then I like to test the students knowledge through past paper questions / exam style questions
I also work on exam technique when there is an exam coming near or when the actual GCSE / A Level exams are close by

I usually send some questions after the lesson for the students to do in their own time so that they can keep consolidating what has been taught in the lesson, this way I can spend as much time going through the harder and more difficult content

Being one year younger than Matthew, he tutored me during my GCSE year. His wide knowledge of maths and the sciences combined with his ability to help me understand concepts really helped me remember all the content required for GCSEs. This has provided me with a great platform going into A-Levels.
