About Stephanie
I enjoyed a 19-year career teaching mostly Language Arts (and some Social Studies) in the classroom, as well as coaching and mentoring students in extracurricular activities. However, I chose to enter the medical sector to help others in a different way! I still want to be able to assist in helping middle-school aged students succeed when I have the opportunity. I'm gifted and online certified and feel most comfortable helping in grammar and writing.

I enjoy engaging students with videos but also stress study skills that help in retaining information instead of simply memorizing things.
A typical lesson plan would involve a warm up, a review of crucial background knowledge, an activity/focus on main content, and a closing with an opportunity for students to demonstrate what they've learned.
