About JT

I remember being a student in my art classes struggling to understand my teacher and the concepts they were teaching. I always wanted a teacher who would listen to me, understand me, and honestly just teach me the way that worked best for me. This is what inspired me to become a teacher. I wanted to help people understand art the way they deserve. I wanted to be the teacher I never had. Many people make art seem much more complicated than it needs to be and I want to show art in a much simpler way anybody can learn from.

I am very comfortable teaching all ages, skill levels, and accommodation needs.

*BONUS* I also teach drum/percussion lessons of all variety. Marching percussion, orchestral percussion, drum-set, etc. Including multiple genres and styles.
