About Julia

Hi, I'm Julia — a first-year Ph.D. student in Operations Research at MIT, with a background spanning mathematics, physics, and statistics at the highest academic levels.I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, graduating with a 4.00 GPA and a 97.6% average — recognized as the top female science graduate with a university-wide scholarship. I then pursued graduate-level mathematics coursework at the University of Cambridge before beginning my doctorate at MIT.I have seven years of tutoring experience working with students from elementary school through third-year university, and I pride myself on a strong student retention rate. I've also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto and OCAD University, for Calculus and Astronomy respectively.Whether you're seeing a concept for the first time or preparing for a high-stakes exam, I'll meet you where you are.
