About Shelby
Years spent under stage lights and inside tracking rooms define my perspective. I hear the vibration of every string before my fingers even touch the fretboard. This technical foundation allows me to guide students through grade exam prep and complex chord transitions with ease.
My 13 years of teaching have taught me that maintenance and ear training are just as vital as improvisation. I work with individuals who want to bridge the gap from practicing in bedrooms to performing on actual stages.
Balancing electric and acoustic technique feels like second nature after decades of refinement. Reading tabs and mastering scales are the tools I provide for your musical growth. I enjoy watching students finally understand how modes function in real time. My own journey from student to full-time instructor remains a deeply personal commitment.
