About Harvey
Hello, I’m Harvey, a friendly and dedicated GCSE maths tutor. I am committed to helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and approach maths with a more positive mindset.
My lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. I take the time to explain topics step by step, encourage questions, and use plenty of practice so students feel comfortable applying what they have learnt. We can focus on difficult topics, improving exam technique, or working towards a specific target grade.

I offer friendly, structured GCSE maths tuition tailored to each student’s starting point and goals. Firstly identifying the topics that feel difficult, then explain them clearly step by step before working through examples together. Using past-paper-style questions regularly so students build both understanding and confidence with exam technique.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities, including those who need help catching up as well as those aiming for higher grades. Each lesson is paced to suit the student, with time to ask questions and revisit anything unclear. I aim to make maths feel manageable, encourage independent problem-solving, and help students see steady progress.
