About Irushi

I hold an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Calgary and have university teaching experience in Canada and Sri Lanka. I enjoy helping students work through challenging ideas and build confidence in their mathematical abilities.

My approach is patient, friendly, and organized. You can expect well-prepared lessons, clear explanations, and a supportive space where questions are always welcome. Whether you need support with school or university mathematics, or GRE Quantitative Reasoning preparation, I will work with you at your pace and help you progress towards your goals.

About the lesson

I make mathematics easier to understand through clear explanations, step by step examples, and guided practice. I adapt lessons to your pace and encourage questions so you feel comfortable learning from mistakes.

A typical lesson begins with a short review and any questions you have. We then explore the topic, work through examples together, and practise problems independently, finishing with a recap. For GRE preparation, we also focus on quantitative reasoning, timed practice, and efficient problem solving strategies.

I hold an MSc in Mathematics and have university teaching experience in Canada and Sri Lanka. This helps me recognize common difficulties and explain concepts in different ways.

My lessons are for high school and university students who need help understanding concepts, strengthening problem solving skills, or preparing for tests and exams. I also help students prepare for the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE.
