About Huub
I am a driven, energetic Sports Physiotherapist, working in central London at a private Sports Medicine clinic in Kensington, London. I have recently gratuated from MSc Sports Physiotherapy at SOMT University in Amersfoort (the Netherlands). For the past few years, I have been tutoring Master and Bachelor Physiotherapy students in the Netherlands, as well as doing regular CPDs and group sessions for sports clubs, kinesiology students and athletes in the Netherlands as well as in London. I currently live in the Surrey/Berkshire area, near Windsor and Ascot.

My teaching method is goal-oriented and aimed at improving intrinsic motivation of my students. I base my tutoring on Bloom's Taxonomy - to classify learning objectives and goals. I believe a student learns best when facilitated with the right questions and when autonomy is passed on to them. I very much use a shared decision making strategy for approaching a problem and problem-solving. I am always searching for the right context and transfer of knowledge, to assure the knowledge is of value for the student, and is not something I force upon my students.
