About Austin

I have been teaching for over six years in various schools with various students in various states. I have taught biology, physics, physical science, chemistry, earth science, environmental science, and astronomy. I’ve assisted students with forensic science, anatomy, math courses, and others. I have taught students who have competed at the Olympic trails and other over sea competitions. I’ve also taught students who did not know how to read or speak English. Though, at the end of the day, all of my students laughed, were cared for, and learned.

About the lesson

Ever sat through a death by PowerPoint presentation? Yeah… not fun! Instead, I enjoy sharing stories and making jokes to connect content directly to the student.

Young, adventurous, and energetic, working with high school students is second nature. There is nothing better than letting a student know they are valuable and can (and will) accomplish great things. In fact, by the time I get to interact with students, they’ve already done amazing things and are amazing people.
