About Ella
Hi there, my name is Ella Bender and I am an artist just like you. I have done art growing up, and love how it truly is all around us! I want to help you make your passions come to life whether it's on a canvas, iPad, or piece of paper. Through personalized goal setting, creative exploration, and encouraging conversations, I help students build their artistic skills and confidence. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every student feels empowered to express themselves, develop their unique style, and pursue their creativity with confidence.

Every student is different, which is why I believe art education should be personalized rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. At the beginning of our lessons, we will discuss your goals, interests, strengths, and the skills you would like to develop. Understanding both what a student needs and what they want to learn allows me to create lessons that are engaging, motivating, and tailored to their individual creative journey.
A typical lesson begins with a conversation about progress, challenges, and goals. From there, we work through projects, techniques, or concepts that align with the student's interests, whether that involves drawing, painting, digital art, graphic design, color theory, or creative problem-solving. I focus on creating a comfortable, supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions, sharing ideas, and taking creative risks.
What sets my teaching apart is my emphasis on communication and collaboration. I view learning as a partnership, and I strive to create an equal and welcoming atmosphere where students feel heard and respected. My strong leadership and communication skills allow me to connect with a wide range of personalities, ages, and learning styles. Whether you are a complete beginner looking to build confidence or an experienced artist hoping to refine your skills, I am committed to helping you grow creatively while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding.
