About Laura
I have been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years, in the UK, Italy and Brazil.
I teach Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and English as a Foreign Language.
I have experience teaching and tutoring for GCSEs, A-Level and the International Baccalaureate, with many of my students achieving high grades. I have also taught tailored business courses and prepared students when travelling to countries where these languages are spoken. My students have been of all ages - from 3 to 83!
My extensive travel in Europe and South America, including for work and study, means that I am able to offer a unique multicultural perspective, which will really bring these languages alive.

My teaching method is to tailor each lesson to my students' preferred learning style and language goals. I use flash cards, games, audiovisual and other online resources, including listening to native speakers. I focus on improving my student's accent, fluency and confidence, as well as giving them a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary. Exercises involve all four of the key skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing. I aim to always inspire, engage and make lessons fun!
