About Larissa
My name is Larissa and I am a 25 year old chemistry graduate with a passion for languages! I have spent over 10 years learning languages and today I can speak 6: English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Greek and Russian. I know how difficult it can be to get started and learn a new language from scratch, that is why I also know that it’s 100% possible and that anybody can do it with the right method and support. I’m here to share my passion with you and support you grow in your language journey so that you can be more confident and motivated to take on the challenge of becoming multilingual!

I believe in tailoring each lesson to the students’ specific needs. For beginners, I will go through the basic vocabulary and grammar suitable for your level, and ensure we are constantly revising so that you are able to learn more efficiently and progress smoothly. For more intermediate learners, we can explore more complex grammar structures and colloquial terms, as well as learn how to identify/understand different Brazilian accents. I think it’s important to learn using a variety of mediums such as articles, videos and music, as opposed to just going through a textbook. In any case, I will be teaching Portuguese in the context of Brazil and therefore you will also learn a lot about Brazilian culture, traditions and history! The typical length of a lesson will be 1 hour and for ages 14+.
