About Tumi
Hello! I'm Tumelo. Drawing has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I love helping others bring their artistic visions to life with confidence and ease. I hold a BA in Information Design and have four years of experience teaching drawing and visualization at the University of Pretoria, along with tutoring art at Curro High School. As a multimedia fine artist and illustrator, my work spans graphic novels, children’s books, and corporate branding, and has been showcased in exhibitions. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your fundamentals or explore new creative directions, my lessons are designed to support your artistic growth in a structured yet encouraging way. I offer personalized drawing lessons for high school and tertiary-level individuals looking to develop or refine their drawing skills. Whether you're a beginner or have prior experience, we’ll start at your level and tailor the lessons to your artistic goals.
You can focus on portraiture, figure drawing and anatomy, still life, environments, perspective drawing, or any other area of interest. Each lesson is designed to build towards a tangible, refined final piece—whether it’s an expressive portrait, a dynamic comic book panel with accurate perspective, or a beautifully composed still life.
Beyond technique, these lessons equip you with essential foundational theory, observation skills, composition, and visual storytelling to help you create compelling and impactful art.
