About Eric
With training in classical music stretching back 30 years, I have had the unique experience of learning guitar alongside music theory and musicality. Though some teachers only teach one approach (reading sheet music vs tab vs playing by ear), I understand the practicality of using elements of all 3 methods to develop a well-rounded student. You'll be in prime position as you reach an intermediate playing level since you'll have the critical tools to break past the limitations many self-taught players experience.

Beginning guitar should be easy, but more importantly - it should be fun! I help students of all ages learn the fundamentals of guitar through private lessons tailored to your age and playing goals. Each lesson, we'll cover playing technique, new notes, chords, and scales. But we'll also be learning recognizable melodies and songs that will leave you smiling and feeling confident. Each student has individual needs, and I'll meet you where you're at in your guitar journey to ensure your success and enjoyment!
