About Dylan
My name is Dylan and I've been recording, mixing, and mastering audio since 2016 (if you don't know what all these terms mean... I can teach you).
My DAW (Digital audio workstation) of choice is FL Studio, but I can use anything from Logic Pro, to GarageBand, to Soundtrap, and all the DAWs in between.
Currently, I'm getting a master's degree in music education and my concentration is technology, meaning I'm already proficient in the skill but I want to teach it academically full time. Many of my students have increased their understanding of music production because I meet them where they are at and then we build together based on the skills you wish to get out of our lessons.

I meet you where you're at so we can build foundational skills together. I'll learn about the music you like so we can better apply skills to that specific genre, while covering basic universal skills that can transfer and apply to any situation.
Anyone can join lessons, I can work with complete beginners who don't know how to use a DAW, to artists looking to pick up additional skills.
I've been teaching audio production and recording since 2021 to age groups 10-22+. I've taught in classrooms, camps, after school programs, studios, and informal meetups.
I also have a Bachelor's degree in Advertising so we can create marketing campaigns, personal brands, and online engagement strategies (if this is desired).
