About Joseph
I am an experienced guitar and music theory tutor with a BA Hons. degree in Music. I have inspired my pupils to become more passionate about the instrument and music they play. My lessons are informal and I take a strictly professional approach. I treat the art of music and guitar playing with great respect and enthusiasm.

My lessons cover the fundamental elements of guitar such as knowing and understanding all the individual parts and functions of the instrument. I give particular attention to techniques such as warming-up, extending dexterity across the fretboard, alternate picking, scales and arpeggios and keeping a steady rhythm. My pupils who implemented these methods into their practice routine greatly improved their knowledge and standard of playing. In my 30-45 minute lessons you will learn how to practise regularly and efficiently in order to enhance your creativity and develop your musical ability. In my experience of tutoring, I have found this approach most beneficial for beginners, ages 5-12, and intermediate level guitarists, ages 13-17.
