About Max
My name is Max and I have completed BA in music from the University of Durham. I have significant singing and Musical Directing experience working with choirs and on stage in opera and musical theatre. My academic music degree has given me a grounding in harmony and analysis, especially in counterpoint and pastiche composition techniques. I am extremely passionate about music and spreading my enthusiasm and knowledge to anyone I have the privilege of working with.

I tailor my lessons to students' specific needs by working with parents and students whether this be ABRSM and school exams, or university applications. I make sure I teach in relation with a student's desired content and pace, with a flexible lesson plan. I ensure that we work within a safe space for students to feel comfortable whilst pushing themselves musically.
