About Mills

I’m Mills, a London based music producer, studio engineer and beginner guitar teacher.

Alongside teaching, I work with artists on their music, producing, recording and mixing, and supporting them through the creative process. I’ve also worked on writing camps helping to develop artists and their sound, and I regularly work with young people in music.

I also write and release my own music, so I understand what it’s like to be learning, creating and figuring things out as you go.

I started out learning guitar and writing songs myself, so I know how overwhelming it can feel at the beginning. Because of that, I try to keep lessons relaxed, clear and supportive.

My aim is simple, to help you build confidence, enjoy the process, and feel comfortable making music at your own pace.

About the lesson

I teach beginner guitar, songwriting and music theory in a way that’s built around you and your pace.

If you’re new to music or have tried to learn before and felt stuck, lessons are designed to feel clear and manageable, without overcomplicating things.

I don’t believe in learning things in isolation, so we connect guitar, basic theory and songwriting from the start. The goal is to help you actually play, understand what you’re doing, and begin creating your own music early on.

Creativity is a big part of my approach. Even as a beginner, you won’t just be practising exercises, we’ll start turning ideas into songs, however simple they begin.

I also work as a music producer and mixing engineer, so if your goal is to eventually record and release your own music, I can guide you towards that step by step.

Lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to you. No pressure, no judgement, just steady progress and building confidence over time.
