In our music production class, we'll dive into fundamental concepts, such as sound theory, DAW navigation, MIDI sequencing, recording techniques, and audio editing. We'll explore the art of mixing, touching on leveling, panning, and applying effects. Students will learn the basics of mastering for a polished sound. Practical sessions will cover instrument and vocal recording, as well as sound synthesis and sampling. We'll discuss arrangement strategies and experiment with different genres. Throughout, we'll focus on optimizing workflows, understanding copyright nuances, and gaining industry insights. By fostering collaboration and critical listening, students will develop technical prowess and creative prowess.
