About Hanna

I’m a musician and teacher with 10 years of teaching experience and a Master’s and Bachelor degree in Bass guitar. My musical background includes studying music and developing my main focus around bass and jazz. I have a strong interest in harmony, improvisation, ear training and understanding how different parts of music work together. As a teacher, I try to make theory clear and approachable, connecting every concept to actual music and helping students understand the reason behind what they are playing.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on understanding how music actually works and being able to use that knowledge when playing or creating music. We can work on harmony, chords, scales, intervals, rhythm, notation, ear training, analysis and improvisation. I adapt the lessons to your level and goals, whether you are a beginner who wants to build a solid foundation or a musician who wants to understand harmony and improve their playing. I prefer a practical approach, using real songs, exercises and examples rather than learning theory only by memorizing rules.

I’ve known Hanna for several years, and we’ve had the opportunity to study and work on different projects together. She has always been a very patient, responsible and open-minded person, and I’ve seen how naturally she communicates with people and explains things in a clear and understandable way.

Hanna is the kind of person who genuinely cares about whether someone understands something, rather than simply giving them an answer. She is attentive to different learning styles and always tries to find a way to make things easier and more interesting.

I would definitely recommend Hanna as a Superprof. She is knowledgeable, friendly and reliable, and I’m sure her students will feel comfortable learning with her.
