About Natasha

I have been working in the dance industry for 10 years now. I’m currently working as a performer and educator in NYC. I have experience in not only professional theater, but collegiate auditions, and competition/convention circuits as well. My own dance training has included over 10 different styles at an advanced level, and I am constantly taking class and furthering my own dance education. I have a BFA in musical theatre from CAP21 and currently teach at multiple studios in New York.

About the lesson

I specialize in working with beginner dancers in a way that emphasizes fun while seamlessly integrating vernacular and history for a well rounded dance education. My goal is for you to leave each class feeling proud and capable, because you are! I have experience teaching ages 5 to 30 in various styles, and I cater my classes to individual needs as I identify them. All classes will follow the structure of a warm up, technique practice and end with a short piece of choreography. I will talk intermittently about style, dynamics and intention. I will consistently check in, answer questions and double back to explain when needed. I also will often present choices for what the lesson will include so you have agency over your dance education.
