About Aditya

Hi! My name is Aditya and I'm currently a senior at UC Santa Cruz studying Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Design. I have always found a deep love for tutoring, since it has helped me so much throughout my academic life.

I believe that teaching is a great way to master concepts, and having done this for most of my college career, I'm prepared to help you master your knowledge.

I believe that STEM courses are tough because the way they're taught are inherently tough to grasp. The fundamentals of all classes are hardly ever emphasized or drawn out, so our brains cannot conceptualize the material. And so my approach focuses on strengthening your fundamentals using illustrations and then helping you through whichever STEM course you're having difficulty with. :)

About the lesson

Data dictates that students have trouble succeeding most in STEM courses. And I have learned, throughout my years as a chemistry student, how exactly to approach these difficult courses.

I have methodical approaches to each STEM class: for mathematics, we begin with fundamentals, meaning that I would first help you master what you must know in order to succeed in the math class you're taking; for chemistry, we once again begin by mastering the fundamentals, which are generally the most you need to know to succeed; for physics, I would teach you mathematical shortcuts that you can take to solve problems and then help you master each concept by teaching you the derivation of each formula, which is really all you need to understand; for biology, I would first teach you how to read a biology chapter, which would help you grasp bulk information in shorter periods of time and also personally guide you in understanding those concepts -- usually in biology, visual learning helps a lot more than reading concepts, so I would teach you concepts by drawing illustrations.

I can also teach college students organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, quantum chemistry, statistics, calculus, multivariable and differential calculus, linear algebra, python and data structures, writing, thermodynamics, biochemistry, and college biology.

Most tutors that I'm aware of teach with a lackluster approach. I am not interested in simply making money off of my students by doing as little as I can in my allotted time. I am committed to your success. So I would also coach you throughout your session by not just teaching you the required lessons, but by also ensuring you learn just how to effectively learn. Additionally, I am flexible to your schedule, so whenever you'd like to learn, I am ready.

I can teach students ranging from the first grade of elementary to the senior year of college. I can teach everything that I have mastered, so even college students are within my range.
