About Anna
I am a huge science nerd, so I genuinely love teaching the subjects that I teach, and that definitely reflects on my students and their outcomes. My favorite part about being a tutor is inspiring students to enjoy science classes because I think there is nothing cooler than to know how the world around us works. I like to solve math problems and all sorts of puzzles in my free time, and I am an avid chess player.

I primarily work with high school students taking physics, chemistry, algebra 1/2 and precalculus. However, I also occasionally work with college students taking Calculus I,II,III and linear algebra, as well as intro level physics and chemistry classes. My teaching style includes explaining concepts in depth, followed by lots of practice problems that I work on with students on a virtual whiteboard. I believe that visualization and analogies are the best way to grasp concepts, especially for some of my neurodiverse students.
