About Lola

My name is Lola and I have been tutoring for the past three years. In 2019, as a Freshman in high school, I was a part of the team that won the Illinois State Math Championship. Currently I am an online student at Northeastern University, studying Finance and Accounting. Being a college student, I understand how different students work and I understand how to push them to work harder, without overstepping their boundaries. I look forward to working with each student, and I am excited to share my knowledge with every student!

About the lesson

My lessons are personalized and tailored specifically to each student. My goal as a tutor is for the student to not only learn the material, but for them to also become confident with it. I will challenge the student, giving them a variety of problems so that they can really become confident and proficient in the material. I work with the student's needs, and I will change up my teaching methods depending on the student's needs, and what they're most comfortable with.
