About Maurice

Engineering Graduate

8+ years of tutoring experience in Mauritius

Experience teaching students from Grade 7 to Grade 13

Strong familiarity with Cambridge and Mauritian national exam requirements

Over the years, I have helped students:
- Improve failing grades to passes
- Achieve distinctions in SC & HSC
- Build long-term confidence in Mathematics

About the lesson

My Approach to Teaching Mathematics in Mauritius

My teaching approach is structured, practical, and adapted to the Mauritian education system (Cambridge IGCSE, SC, HSC & A-Level).

My goal is not only to help students pass exams, but to truly understand Mathematics.

I begin by assessing the student’s current level, identifying strengths and weaknesses. Many students in Mauritius struggle not because they “can’t do maths,” but because they have gaps in foundational concepts
