About Angelia
"Do you find yourself making the same tactical blunders repeatedly during your games? As a researcher at Nanyang Technological University, I apply a highly analytical lens to every move on the board.
My 8 years of experience teaching chess involve deep study of middlegame planning and positional understanding. I emphasize calculation and visualization to build a solid competitive mindset.
I also focus on tournament preparation, attacking play, and recording and notation. Opening repertoire building remains a pillar of my coaching philosophy. My students and I often spend hours refining our tactical patterns. I truly enjoy seeing the growth in a player who commits to the discipline of the game."
