About Susanne

I’ve been an educator for 26 years and have 17 years of classroom teaching experience. I love math, kids, and teaching and believe math is everywhere! It’s my greatest honor to guide you on your journey through math education. I took college math classes as an adult and gained an appreciation for what it’s like to be a student again. I teach with compassion and guide students with confidence and kindness.

About the lesson

I use a combination of direct teaching, guided practice, and independent practice to tutor math. Students are empowered to try each task and do their best with teacher support. I teach students how to use growth mindset to learn from mistakes and keep a positive attitude.
