About Merritt
I'm a National Board Certified Teacher (highest nationally recognized teaching credential in the US) with 6 years of classroom teaching experience and nearly 10 years of private tutoring. My educational background includes a Master's degree and Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in history/social studies where I graduated magna cum laude (3.93 GPA). In my free time I love traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with my dog :)

I take the time to learn my students' strengths, challenges, and interests so I can build an individualized program to help them build skills, readiness, and confidence.
