About Max
Hi there! I'm Max and I'm a student in London! I currently live in Angel and study full time. I used to receive tutoring from a couple subjects at school and my tutors were some of the most useful and inspiring influences in my life. I decided to start tutoring purely to try and help students who could use a little extra help in my areas of expertise. For me, tutoring is not limited to improving grades but also helping students to see that school doesn't have to just be something to get through, but it can be a real journey through curiosity and exploration. I hope I can help to make some subjects you may be struggling with into subjects you start to genuinely enjoy and want to explore more of. I am very flexible in terms of your goals and how you want to reach them, so I'm sure we can talk and find a way to get the most out of tutoring that you can. Thank you!

I believe results should come from complete understanding rather than just memory alone. A complete base understanding of concepts will allow you to grasp future concepts far more easily and provide consistent resilience against any exam questions coming your way! I am happy to teach multiple nights a week, typically for hour sessions although this is flexible. Online lessons are preferred. I can work through any material you wish to target and bring solutions to problems you are given in addition to the arranged lessons! As mentioned in my brief, I have completed the basic GCSE Mathematics (A*) and Physics (A*) as well as FSMQ (A*), which serves as a GCSE Further Mathematics. I then went on to achieve excellent grades in Cambridge Pre U Mathematics (D2) and Physics (D1) in sixth form as well as Pre U Further Mathematics (M1). I then did a year of Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London and am in my second year of Biomedical Engineering at Kings College London. I am offering Mathematics and Physics tutoring for GCSE students, or younger, in London!
