About Andressa

I’m a Brazilian tutor, and my journey as a part-time language teacher—while also building my career in Business—began seven years ago when a friend asked me to help her learn English as a second language. What started as a simple favor soon evolved into something much greater, as more people became interested in my teaching approach. Since then, teaching has grown into one of my greatest passions, allowing me to connect with people, share knowledge, help students gain confidence in a new language, and experience Brazilian culture as part of the learning journey.

About the lesson

I teach both Brazilian Portuguese and English for children, adults, and professionals from all levels. My classes are fully personalized and focused on each student’s individual goals.

My teaching methodology is based on real communication through speaking, conversation practice, writing, listening, and cultural immersion. I use dynamic resources such as texts, music, movies, videos, and everyday situations to create a fun, engaging, and effective learning environment.

I also work professionally in business and technology, with experience in large projects and international companies. I hold an Master's Degree in Product Management, Associates degree in Quality Management, and I'm constantly learning new skills. This also allows me to help students who need Business English, professional communication, or language skills for management and corporate environments.

As a Brazilian, I especially love helping students learn Portuguese and discover Brazilian culture at the same time. My goal is to make learning feel natural, enjoyable, and something you can truly use in real life.
