About Samara

Olá! My name is Samara — I’m a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with a background in business, auditing, and risk management, and currently serving as a missionary in South Africa (after a season in Mozambique!). My journey across countries and cultures has deepened my love for communication and for helping people connect through language. Portuguese is my mother tongue, and now I’m excited to share it with you — not only as a language, but as a bridge to culture, stories, and meaningful conversations. Teaching has become a beautiful way for me to stay connected with people from all over the world while continuing my mission — so when you book a class, you’re not just learning a language... you're also supporting a purpose!! I’m super grateful that she was able to translate and also teach me many things in English.
