About Marilia
Hello! My name is Marilia and I’m a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker from the south of Brazil. I've been living in Ireland for over 8 years, which has given me a unique perspective on language learning and cultural adaptation. Throughout my journey, I’ve had the chance to travel to more than 20 countries, which has enriched my understanding of different cultures and languages. I’m fluent in English and Spanish, which helps me to connect with a diverse range of learners and tailor my teaching approach to their needs. I’m passionate about helping people learn Brazilian Portuguese in a way that’s engaging, practical, and enjoyable. For conversation lessons, I’m going to focus on helping learners develop practical speaking skills by using real-life scenarios relevant to Brazilian culture.
