About Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren! I'm an American, TESOL-certified English teacher specializing in Business English and professional communication.

I’m passionate about helping students use English as a tool to grow in their careers. I understand that in today’s global workplace, strong communication skills can open doors.

As someone who has studied languages myself, I know the challenges professionals face when working in a second language. That’s why I focus on creating lessons that are practical, structured, and directly relevant to your work.

I teach students from around the world and tailor each lesson to their professional goals. I also bring an academic background from my Master’s studies, which strengthens my ability to support advanced communication skills such as argumentation, clarity, and critical thinking.

About the lesson

I take a practical, results-driven approach to Business English, focusing on helping professionals communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively in real workplace situations. I am a TESOL-certified native English teacher with experience teaching professionals from diverse industries. I specialize in conversation-based, goal-oriented lessons that help students improve quickly and apply English directly to their work.

My lessons are structured and personalized to your professional needs:

Needs analysis & goal-setting (e.g., meetings, presentations, emails, interviews)
Target language development (useful phrases, tone, and professional vocabulary)
Controlled practice (structured exercises for accuracy)
Real-world application through role plays and simulations

We work on scenarios such as leading meetings, negotiating, networking, and writing professional emails. I also focus on clarity, tone, and pronunciation, so you can sound natural and professional in international environments.

Lessons are typically 25 or 50 minutes:

25 minutes: focused skill-building (e.g., email writing, interview prep)
50 minutes: deeper practice (e.g., meetings, presentations, case discussions)
