About Daniel
Hi, my name is Daniel. I am a Singaporean of Chinese descent. My native language is English, which puts me in good standing to understand you and the local culture.
I have 10 years of formal education in Chinese language starting from Year 1 and achieved an 'A' for listening/reading/writing in the UK qualification of GCSE O' level.
Additionally, I have undertaken professional Business Mandarin course for 1 year whilst dealing with clients from Mainland China as part of my portfolio in my previous role as a Bank Relationship Manager for the past 7 years.
I have previously worked as a tutor to kids Y1-6 back in Singapore during my university days. I am currently having 2 students (7 and 11) that I teach on a weekly basis face-to-face in Gold Coast, QLD.

A typical length of lesson will generally be 1 hour each. However, in my experience working with kids, I would like to assess each and every individual kid's capability to focus and absorb the lesson, thus may recommend a shorter time for younger kids after the first lesson.
Business Mandarin competency classes are only available for professionals in the finance industry (i.e. Finance brokers, REAs, Super funds executives, nec.) that I am confident in. These classes are only available for adults with an intermediate grasp of the Chinese language.
