About Phillip

Hello! My name is Phillip and I am a native of England with a lot of experience and enthusiasm for teaching. I have been living in Spain for more than 7 years teaching English in a prestigious private academy in Barcelona. I have experience giving courses to adults, children and teenagers with levels from A1 to C2 of the CEFR. Main specialties: • Cambridge FCE, CAE and CPE (intensive and extensive) • CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) • TBL (Task Based Learning). • Business English Education: • Oct. 2015 - Jul.2016 - Universidad Internacional de Valencia Master's degree in teacher training-English specialty. About the lesson

So, what's a typical class like with me? Firstly, I recommend that you try a class for yourself in order to find out! In general, I help people to improve their level as quickly and efficiently as possible, while at the same time making classes interesting, dynamic and personalized. In short, if you need, or would like to pass an exam I can teach you the tips and tricks in order to do so. I know what key grammatical areas we need to study, and what you should say and write in the speaking and writing part. Maybe you're not looking to take an exam at the moment. That's fine! You can explain what you are looking for from the classes and I will provide all the necessary resources to do so. For example, one of the methods we could use is Task Based Learning, where we set out to complete a task together and you are presented with the grammar and vocabulary as it appears, or as you need it. This is especially useful for people who want to practice real life situations such as interviews or business meetings. Or perhaps you are looking to improve your grammar or writing. Whatever your aim, with my knowledge and experience I will help you achieve your goal!
