About Philippe DD

I am a native speaker in French, English and Russian- with all A*’s in my A Levels for all three. My tutoring experience extends from 16 years of age, where I ran societies in school to help younger students master languages. I have a genuine passion for the subjects and am excited to teach. As an avid language learner, I place a lot of emphasis on understanding and practice in both speech and writing.

About the lesson

I always push my students to think outside the box and give creative tasks to allow them to memorise and learn in a way unique to them! I’ll adapt to my tutee’s needs at any level and ensure a smooth learning curve in any subject. Depending on the number of lessons a week, I will provide small quizzes and tests to make sure information from previous lessons is remembered, as well as crafting ‘cheat sheets’ and documents aimed to help the student learn. These documents will be tailored to my tutee’s weaknesses and will ensure that he is well-rounded in his knowledge of the language. With my fluent skills and understanding of the culture of the countries that J teach, my approach allows students to learn to speak on a conversational basis, as well as read and write.
