About Salomé

Bonjour!

I am a native French speaker, originally from Toulouse, and I am currently a student at the University of Edinburgh. I love teaching and transmitting my language. I have given lessons to kids learning French for the first time, as well as University students wanting to keep practicing. I have also helped friends study for their University exams.

I am very organised and reliable, and I prepare each of my lessons thoroughly. It is important for me that lessons take place in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This way, lessons stay enjoyable and progression is faster.

About the lesson

I tailor the content of my lessons to the needs and abilities of each student. I can focus my lessons on conversation, while introducing new vocabularies of expressions, if the student wants to improve its speaking. I can also offer more academic lessons, with exercises that focus more on grammar and written classes. As a French native speaker, students will acquire French vocabulary that they can use in real world, and become familiar with the subtleties of the French language.

Between each lesson, I always recap the new vocabulary learnt and make notes on the mistakes made. I usually give videos to watch, texts to read or questions to think about so that they can be discussed during the next lesson. On demand I can also give written assessments to complete between lessons, and then correct them.

I keep my lessons fun, interesting and enjoyable :)

My lessons usually last 1 hour, but they can be longer or shorter on request.
