About Renna

I am a native Japanese speaker and a licensed teacher from Japan with classroom and cram school experience. I have also worked professionally as a career advisor and in corporate planning — so I know the hiring side of the table, not just the theory.

I moved to Malaysia because I love this country, and nothing makes me happier than helping Malaysian students walk into an interview room with confidence. The first lesson is free, so we can see if we work well together.

About the lesson

I can teach you both Japanese and career support — and I can teach you Japanese in a way that builds your career.

Most Japanese lessons teach you to order coffee. Most career coaching ignores language completely. If your goal is to work for a Japanese company — in Malaysia or in Japan — you need both, and you need them connected. That is exactly what I do.

- Japanese language — from complete beginner to conversation and JLPT preparation, taught by a native speaker
- Business Japanese — the keigo, the email phrasing, the self-introduction, the way you speak to a manager
- Career support — resume writing, interview preparation, and job-hunting strategy, from someone who worked as a career advisor and in corporate planning

You can take any one of these, or we can combine them. It is your choice.

▼MY APPROACH

Every lesson is designed around you. Before we begin, I ask about your motivation, your target company and your goals, and I build the content from there. A student aiming at a Japanese manufacturer needs something completely different from someone studying Japanese for fun, and I teach them differently.

A typical lesson runs 60 minutes. We work on your real materials and your real goal — not textbook exercises. I give honest, specific feedback, because that is the whole product. For interview practice, we run mock sessions and I tell you exactly what worked and what did not.
