About HANA

Native Korean speaker with three years of language teaching experience. (more than 70 students)

I build lessons around your goals and interests
From essential vocabulary and grammar to everyday expressions in K-pop lyrics and K-drama scripts, you’ll learn Korean through content you enjoy.

I create personalized lesson materials and vocabulary sets for each student, which you can practice through a learning app between lessons.

Travel, immigration, business, connecting with friends and family, or for your Bias!!

everyone has their own reason for learning Korean.
Tell me about your goals and interests, and I’ll prepare a learning plan tailored to you.

I’m Hana, a native Korean speaker based in Canada with three years of experience teaching English to children and teenagers, as well as experience tutoring adults.

I’ve seen how learning through something students enjoy can help them stay engaged and motivated.
I create personalized lesson materials and vocabulary sets, which you can review through a learning app between sessions.

If you enjoy K-dramas, we can use scripts and scenes to explore pronunciation, intonation, meaning in context, and everyday conversation.

A typical lesson combines a short review, a clear explanation of a grammar point, and guided practice using examples connected to your interests.

We’ll build your vocabulary and grammar step by step, at a pace suited to your level.

My lessons are especially suited to complete beginners and intermediate learners. You don’t need to be a K-pop or K-drama fan—your own interests and goals will guide what we learn together.
