About Nancy

Hello, my name is Nancy. I am a native Mandarin speaker who has grown up in an English-based international education system, giving me a strong understanding of both languages and how to bridge them effectively. Through my academic experience, I have developed clear communication skills and a structured approach to learning, which allow me to support students reliably. I am patient, adaptable, and committed to helping each student feel confident as they improve their Mandarin.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on practical communication and building confidence. I prioritize speaking and listening skills, helping students become comfortable using Mandarin in real-life situations rather than only memorizing vocabulary. I use simple explanations in English, real-life examples, repetition, and guided conversation practice to make learning natural and effective.

A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material, followed by introducing new vocabulary or sentence structures. We then practice through interactive speaking exercises, role-play conversations, and listening activities.
