About Adedun

I’m a 17-year-old biomedical science student with a strong passion for education and helping children reach their full potential. Growing up with several younger siblings in primary school, I’ve spent a lot of time helping them with reading, writing, and schoolwork, which made me realise how much I enjoy teaching. I believe that every child learns differently, so I aim to make my lessons fun, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I want to help children build confidence in English, enjoy learning, and feel proud of their progress—because learning should always feel exciting and rewarding!

Here’s a more detailed explanation of the type of English lessons you’ll offer and how you’ll support your students: ⸻ As an English tutor for ages 7 to 11+, my lessons will focus on building confidence and skills in: Reading – We’ll work on reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary through exciting stories, non-fiction texts, and fun activities that help students understand what they read and explain it in their own words. Creative Writing – Whether it’s crafting stories, writing descriptions, or exploring poetry, I’ll help students use their imagination while learning how to structure their writing, improve grammar, and choose powerful words to express their ideas clearly. English Literature – We’ll explore classic and modern texts in a way that’s engaging and age-appropriate. I’ll help students understand themes, characters, and language, and show them how to answer literature questions with confidence. Each lesson will be tailored to the student’s level and needs. I’ll use games, prompts, and interactive tasks to keep things interesting while making sure we hit key curriculum goals. Whether your child needs help catching up or wants to stretch their skills further, I’ll support them every step of the way.
