About Latha
I am a retired Assistant Professor from the Electronics & Communication Engineering department, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru, affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, India. I hold a Master’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Digital Communication Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics. I enjoyed teaching students for about 28 years in the area of signal processing and Communication engineering. Throughout my academic career, I have taught undergraduate engineering students core subjects like signals and systems, Digital Signal Processing, Analog Communication, Digital Communication, Information Theory and Coding, Basic Electronics etc. I have mentored hundreds of students, guided final-year academic projects, and helped learners build strong conceptual foundations along with exam-oriented preparation strategies. My teaching approach focuses on simplifying complex engineering concepts into clear, structured, and easy-to-understand explanations, with step-by-step problem solving and personalized guidance based on the syllabus and goals. I am comfortable conducting online sessions using PowerPoint presentation (PPT) with a digital writer to ensure interactive and effective learning. I am passionate about supporting undergraduate engineering students who wish to strengthen their fundamentals, improve academic performance, and gain confidence in above mentioned core ECE subjects. I look forward to helping students make engineering concepts simple, logical, and enjoyable through dedicated and professional online tutoring sessions.
