About Joshua
I'm a nursing student in my final year with a strong academic background in biology; from high school to pre-health, to nursing, I have maintained a strong average in biology (>85-90%) and have helped friends and colleagues reach averages all greater than 80%.
Though my strong suit is in biology (anatomy & physiology), I have given lessons for other subjects at the college level, including nursing theory/medical-surgery, chemistry and mathematics for individuals and groups in person and through videos/live-streaming.

My teaching methods are simple and effective; we begin an overview of the topic, break it down into simple terms, use references/analogies to reinforce the subject (typically, I like to use things that relate to the individual being tutored), and then work on some questions/problems to evaluate the students comprehension and understanding of the subject. Once this is complete, I like to have my students teach me or explain what they have learned because teaching someone else is proven to be the best way of learning.

I usually charge $1 extra for webcam for connectivity issues. If there are no connectivity issues I will waive the fee and stick with the original price.
I can drive out farther if needed, however, gas money is appreciated; $3 extra
