About Mia

I am currently a postgraduate student studying in Education and Teaching. I have recently graduated from UCT with a Bachelors in Social Sciences. During my years at UCT, I studied the language of Mandarin throughout - this being a good way for me to maintain and continue this language. Previous to this, I have lived in Hong Kong and Beijing for 12 years of my life and studied the language of Mandarin during that time. I would love to be able to share this knowledge and this amazing language!

About the lesson

First and foremost I would love to be able to build a positive, kind, understanding and encouraging relationship with the student. With this comes a sense of comfortability in the lessons, trust, security and honesty. I think that with these, the lessons can run smoothly and be more beneficial.
