About Harry
I have been teaching piano, voice, and general music classes in the Northern Virginia area since 1993. Besides teaching lessons in students homes, I've taught in studios, public and private schools, camps and afterschool programs.I teach all ages, but most of my Beginner students are between the ages of 5 and 12. I really enjoy working with this age group-- they are a lot of fun and it's great to see how quickly they learn things!
I have fond memories of the piano teacher in my neighborhood coming to my house and teaching me piano from the time I was eight years old until I graduated high school and left for college. As an adult, I decided to "pay it forward".
I have been teaching piano and voice for over 15 years, and have certificates in Harmony Road and Yamaha group piano lessons.

I generally schedule a short (15-20 minute) introductory visit just to answer any questions and to get an idea of what the student's level and goals are. If all goes well, we schedule regularly weekly lessons.
I work with all ages, from toddlers through adult. Most students start with me as beginners and move into intermediate level with me over the years, but some come in at intermediate level.

Details
In-home and online students pay monthly at $40 per half-hour lesson, so it is generally $160 per month for four half-hour lessons. For new students, I will try to match any quote that is lower.
