About Ryan
I am 'crmpts'. I am a beatboxer, looper, rapper and most importantly a coach. I have beatboxed for 16 years, competed in the UK championships, placing in the finals and quarter finals in 2012 and 2013. I have also rapped on the biggest battle rap platform in the UK 'Dont flop'.
I take my music and my teaching seriously as I knew as soon as I started coaching it was what I was made to do. I even remember at my leavers school awards I was awarded 'Most likely to become a teacher'.
Although I take it so seriously more than anything I am a positive and motivating kind of person that want's nothing more than to make people laugh and smile and teaching kids how to beatbox always accomplishes that. More than music, beatboxing is about bringing people out of their shell, and helping younger people grow in confidence, because if you can beatbox in front of a stranger over a zoom call then you can get the confidence for anything!

-My lessons typically explain music genre's as well as drum sounds as a very first lesson, to better understand Music before attempting the sounds. Lessons vary from basic to advanced dependant on the student.
-A typical lesson will have me beatboxing 4 different genres and asking the student to identify these then after this we start to learn the beats within those genres.
-Lessons typically last 30 minutes to an hour.
-As well as a degree in Music Production and creating an album through only the human voice I have over 5 years teaching online, on cruiseships, at holiday parks and even at my local park - ANYWHERE is the classroom!
-All ages and abilities welcome for classes.
