About Yun Jae
Hello, it's nice to meet you! My name is Yun and I'm an avid chess player who has been playing the game for around 6 years. At the time of this posting, I'm nearly at the expert level, being rated 1900+ and 2100+ on Chess.com Rapid Time Controls (15 + 10) and Lichess Classical Time Controls (30 + 0) respectively. I have previous experience teaching the game to elementary school children so I understand the importance of simplifying complex concepts so that anyone can understand the main idea that I'm trying to get across.
I'm a theoretician of the game, being completely self-taught, so you can expect me to share a lot of interesting ideas and my unique approach to the game of chess. Still, I focus on what works, helping students get past their plateaus by unraveling what makes better players better so that they improve in an efficient manner.
