About Vivian

With 7 years of teaching experience, I work as both a guitar tutor and composer. My Bachelor of Music in Composition (Guitar Emphasis) provides a strong foundation in harmony and structure. I regularly perform original works and arrangements.

I teach acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar performance. Beginners build rhythm and coordination, while advanced players refine articulation and tone color. We study repertoire as well as musical interpretation. Students learn to listen carefully and play thoughtfully.

I guide students toward expressive playing rather than mechanical repetition. Lessons focus on touch, balance, and control. I want every student to feel comfortable communicating through music. The goal is lifelong enjoyment of the instrument.

About the lesson

I provide friendly, interactive guitar lessons that focus on steady progress and clear goals. My teaching centers on fingerstyle guitar, classical pieces, and detailed arrangements. Students learn in a relaxed environment where questions are always welcome.

We study advanced picking patterns, tone balance, and hand coordination. I teach reading sheet music step by step so notation becomes comfortable. Students also learn how to arrange songs for solo guitar by combining melody and accompaniment. Fingerstyle playing begins to feel natural and musical.

I use visual diagrams, careful demonstrations, and slow-practice techniques to build accuracy. I support both dedicated recording-focused players and learners returning to music after many years. Each lesson follows a clear plan and tracks improvement. Confidence grows steadily. The beauty of fingerstyle becomes part of their playing.
